I have set up my new race seat fairly low ...and offset a bit to the centre of the car..problem now is the steering wheel is a bit high...I was thinking of putting 1/2" spacers under the 3 dash mounting bolts to lower it....I checked under the bonnet and cant see how it would upset anything...if fact..it straightens the steering shaft a bit...
Anyone have a problem with it?

I can not see any problems with the steering. You could check that the steering wheel turns freely with the front wheels off the ground.

It would be worth comparing your driving position and vision around the car with the seat in the low position and with a cushion at the standard height.

Yeah its OK LS,..I added a steering wheel button pull off thing...moves the steering wheel 6cm closer so that adds to it as well. I think with the drop it will be all but perfect. Moving the seat about 4cm closer to the centre hump like the V8 supercars makes a world of difference.Makes heel and toe a lot easier I found.
