Aside from TNT from whom I intend to get a quote, does anyone have any other ideas on who else to talk to about getting a car delivered to Melbourne from Perth. Thanks. Ron

I just bought an ss hatch back from perth. $634.28..but different story if you want to send there. Something like $1200..I used TNT

Thankfully, I am Perth to Melbourne. How long did it take from when you booked to when it arrived. And was that service, door to door or depot to depot.

Depends on how special the car is that you are moving, but l have used both Alans Unique Car Carriers and Russell's Enclosed Vehicle Transport. l would recommend both, Russell is based in Melbourne and l have found him cheaper than Alan's. l would try him first, but it will be at least 2x TNT

Agree it is definately cheaper Perth to east as trucks need back loads as more freight is move to Perth rather than from (I work in the mining industry and know). Cost me $1100 for a LX from Canberra to Perth 6 months ago, so should be cheaper the other way no matter who you use. So if you are quoted more than $900 I'd look elsewhere.

TNT (changed its name to CEVA) are delivering the car to me in Melbourne for $500 including GST and insurance. Fantastic deal. It comes by rail and will take total of 9 days. Leaves tomorrow. Here Friday week. Cheers. Ron
