I need to raise my SS about 30mm, tyres rub on lipped guards when turning at slow speeds,(front).I was wondering the best way to go about this, can spacers be used for 30mm, I dont want to go new springs as I dont know how it will sit, if I can get away with spacers will it need a front end alignment, and will it not sitting so low improve the camber issues that come with being way too low at the front? As you can see I dont know much about the frontend and thats why Im asking!
Thanx to anyone who can help out!!

I wouldn't use spacers at all, front or rear. If you do raise the front one way or another, an alignment will be required.

The biggest spacer is 19mm which is around 15mm actual lift. I'm pretty sure these are the ones i used in mine as i wanted a 1/2" raise but the next size down was 15mm and i wasn't sure it would have been high enough.
Oops these were for the rear springs i didn't read the post correctly. 30mm is around 1 1/4" I'd say you will need to get new springs. The camber will ease a bit when raised and yes you will need an alignment.

Thanx for the replies, I called into a suspension place today, spacers are a no go,springs it will have to be (getting the perfect ride height is my only concern),yes it will need an alignment and maybe they can improve the camber.

Bear in mind to lift the front 30mm you only need made the spring 15mm taller.
I would imagine the pedders nolethane item would do this for you.
Yes, it would still need an alignment.

i can't see how a 15mm spacer fitted onto a spring will increase the height by 30mm (i've fitted a 19mm spacer on mine to get roughly 1/2" higher), but perhaps a 15mm taller and stiffer spring would though.

As the spring is roughly halfway from the pivot to the centreline of the rim it would make sense, assuming your spacer was solid.

The Pedders spacers are for the REAR springs only.
