Hi all,

I'm trying to identify the cloth that was used to reupholster my seats.

I'm pretty sure it's called Capricorn and was introduced into the Commodore range around VP-VR release.

Can anyone confirm if I'm correct?

Those inserts are similar but not the same to what I have and am about to replace

Mine have a hint of pink in them.

I will be replacing them with something along the lines of a 'dove' grey. Are you replacing yours too? I actually prefer yours to mine lol.

Sorry I cannot tell you what they are though.

take it to a trimmer mate, they will reccognise it in about 0.1 of a second.... I just took my trim to get redone, and he picked the pattern straight away... it was some trim out of a vn or something as well... Safe to say i am not using it again tho!

I am going techno onyx out of the new VE SS's...

It is VR SS trim, I had exactly the same in my VR SS, I can't tell you what it's called though. The second lot looks like Hyundia stuff.

I believe REDA9X is correct. I have fitted my torana with VR S pack front and rear seats and the trim is exactly the same. The VR S pack had the same interior as the VR SS. I am unsure of what it is called, though we did ask at the auto trimmers, and they did have it in stock. We were hoping to trim our own centre in the rear seats, though it was very, very expensive, so instead we used the same vinyl as the back of the front seats. The grey vinyl was actually called 'Grey VR Commodore', so I am unsure of the name of the patterned blue material. I will post some pictures up below.
