I may be facing a relocation back to Melbourne due to my job. As an ex-Melbournean now living in 'beautiful-one-day-perfect-the-next' South East Qld, it's a tough call :huh:

Here in South East Qld, we have events galore when it comes to track days, hillclimbs, sprints etc. In addition to this, I can go down to Morgan Park and hire the track for $75 a day on a Tuesday or Thursday.

What's the tarmac/track/sprints/hillclimb scene like in Melbourne? Is it expensive and how often would you have events? Is there any track around Melbourne that can be hired fairly cheaply for practice during weekdays?

Any help/info would be appreciated!

not sure what the cost is , but every wednesday its on,
thats in the morning by the way

friday nights is street drags.

There are events wherever you go if you keep your eyes out. I only know of occasional Hillclimbs through mates. If the club was informed about these kinda sessions then I would be able to tell you more. Honestly though, there should be plenty down here if you're prepared to travel a bit.

I'm not sure how often you race or would like to race though...

After paying thousands for a Phillipino bride, a person I know was told you get paid to get a Bangkok woman. How much truth is there, I'm not sure. But it sure as hell shut him up!
