This is for sale on Car Sales.com. Anybody seen this one before, how do the numbers stack up Reda9x. the price looks good, nice colour, wheels are crap but easily fixed.

I tried the web page address but it didnt seem to link to the page, so do a search for Torana on car sales.

A good example of what NOT to fit on your car, those wheels are cheap and nasty looking!

Obviously had a respray with shiny bonnet and painted bumpers etc. but if original it may be worth a look, those wheels are bloody terrible why would someone put them on a car.

mind you if the numbers line up and the body is in reasonable condition it could be a good buy, window tint, wheels etc come off in minutes.

they may not be the large A9X type, but that doesn't mean they aren't correct. Plenty of A9X sedans have the L34 flares, it's just what was in the parts bin on the day.

Can someone post 2 pics of A9X flares and non-A9X flares? I wasn't aware that there were two different types of torana flares.

The difference is best seen when actually comparing a line of Toranas the picture's of my car on my website (link below) shows proper A9X flares (rear set is what you look at). Then look at other torana pics eg this one shown in this thread. The difference may be hard to pick up on photo's but is very obvious in the flesh.

A9X rear ones are wider, the bottom bolt is on the forward edge, while on an L34, the bottom bolt (on the door section) is actually on the bottom of the flare

take a look at this pic and compare it to the blue car at the top

thats the best way to see the difference QIKSLR, it didnt occur to me that someone would have both sets unfitted :)

I've got the small set un-fitted. I'd love a set of the large rear sedan flares.

English translation: Casually looking for a set. Condition not too important, as I only need them for a sample.

I hope you haven't drilled the holes for the small flares, cause if you have, you'll need to fill them and redrill for the large.

Didn't know that, thanks RED. BTW, they've been sitting on the shelf since I bought them.
