How to Fix Bonnet release cable ?

Just wondering how to fix bonnet release cable ?
i bought one of ebay and mine broke so just wondering how to fit it .

Mine is also very tight and will break eventually, so did you buy an inner and outer? I was thinking maybe take the inner cable out and spray it with some silicone. Not sure whats involved either of even if this can be done.

I bought, a whole cable, the old one was a larger one prob out of a hz, cause it went under rh guard then came around to the bonnet clip thingo.

The previous owner hid the cables so there is no original whole for the cable to go through, Im going to drill a new whole for the cable.
Unless there is anyone else with an idea
