Fitting An A9x Hatchback Rear Spoiler

I am trying to fit the A9X rear spoiler to my freshly painted hatch. Just wondering How I go about working out where to drill the holes for the Top Bolts? (The ones under the spoiler...)
How have people done this in the past?
I was thinking if i put blue tack on where the holes are on the spoiler and some one get then to leave a mark, when i position the spoiler on the hatchlid it should leave little marks of where i need to drill. Has anyone got any more ideas? With less chance of error? LOL
Cheers
Matt

Blu Tac seems like probably the easiest and safest way to do it without damaging your paint...

How was the fit of the rear spoiler onto the hatch lid? The mounts on mine hold the spoiler about 2mm of the hatch lid.

I think my spoiler sits pretty flush against the hatch lid... Not tightly but doesnt look silly or anything...
I still need to screw in the back on the spoiler though (As you can see in the pics) So not sure if that will make a difference at all

*Note the precautionary chock under the wheel, before you ask, Yes it has a hand brake, yes it works and yes its in Park... I put the chock there as a third precaution!*
