Hey, I dont have a demister switch in my dash myself, but I need to help someone remove one.

They said that they dont know how to remove it without breaking something..

Any ideas?

Cheers

You need to get to the back of the switch. There is a cradle type retaining bracket. It is held on by a lug each side of the switch body. You need to remove the retaining braket by releasing the side pins with a small flat head screwdriver.

You can get them out by usind a small screwdriver from the top and bottom, pushing the little clips in, however to be on the safe side get them to remove the whole facia.

I just replaced mine as I found a better one I bought off ebay. I tried myself to do what the other blokes said but it looked like I was going to scratch the dash too much so I played it safe & took the facia out to do it properly.

You have to remove the dash, the clip that holds it in is on the back.
