Just found the site after owning my torrie for 14 years. Run down, It's a UC sunbird78, my first car. It was painted 10 years ago in Pacific Blue Honda 2 pak, still looks good. I have put a 253 in it upgraded the breaks, lowered it, etc. Looks and sounds pretty cool especially like it that people don't expect it to be a V8. Was for sale but decided I would like to upgrade wheels and maybe put something hanging out the bonnet before I sell it. Have pics but can't post any as I don't have a website. I have already gained info from the site so decided to join. Hello to all, nice to be with people who suffer the same addiction......and may understand it better than the wife does!

hello and welcome, for pics most people use photobucket.com easy way to get pics up! good luck with the sale but something hanging out of the bonnet always gets more intrest. were a friendly mob here and very understanding of the torry affliction and there are also a few wives lurking around here so there is hope of yours being converted.
enjoy your stay :)

Highlight the top label under the pick, do a CTRL+C (Copy), then come in here, push the IMG button ^ up there, another dialogue box will open, CTRL+V to post the photo link adress in there. Easy as.

Oh, and if you want to change your location/sig text to something that is legible (dunno why the default is dark blue), highlight the text first, then pick the colour. Voila.

Enjoy, hope you get up to as much mischief as I do.

Welcome to TORANA TERRA TORRIE UCV8

That's a nice looking ride you have there. :spoton:

If you want to lighten up the shadow in the engine bay pic, put it through the picasa program and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button and normally it will take out most of those shadows.

Picasa is free on the net and is very easy to use.

Enjoy your stay on the forums.

Regards........................Barry

Thanks for the advice about the photo's. They were just some quick ones I took when I had it for sale and on a cheap digi camera. Hoping to pick some new wheels up soon and change the engine bay a bit. Right now it has a kinda spaghetti look to it that I am tired of. Paint is 10 years old now so am starting to think about a respray, but given it has only driven about 30 000k's seince paint am thniking it can wait a while, time to have some fun with the engine!!!! :D

lol I can see it fine... must be something to do with my youthfully fresh health. haha

What is that texture in the engine bay? Looks like some sort of airbrushing or painting effect.
