Does anyone know if a console from a HJ HZ etc will fit a Torana ?
Or are they too long ?

Yeah, it will fit, that's why the screw holes are "slots" so you can adjust a bit.
But the fit against the carpet will be lousy, as it is a different wavey shape.
Remember the tunnel is completely different in each car.
You can make your own nice fitting lower section and add it to the inside
of your HJ console, or just leave it. Doesnt look that bad.
Is it a manual or auto? Aligning the auto selector needle can be a bit of fun...
