Hunt for Grunt 5.......
Well another has arrived and it won't be long till Hunt for Grunt 5 is upon us.......Saturday 19th April in conjunction with the dalby show 2008
entry costs are as follows
full entry $50.00 have a go at the lot!!
please note: This is our entry fee for our event. Entrants will have to pay to get in the gate(approx$10 ???) for the local show. We dont control that, not certain on their price , we're using there venue.
$40.00 if only in dyno comp
dyno run (2 pulls) ,
spear a spud
show and shine
static burnout pad
........DYNO Rules.........
4cyl, rotor, 6cyl, 8cyl .....naturally aspirated and forced induction
and a high HP class
9 classes in total
make sure you have at least half a tank of fuel......
all overflows and fluids are full and kept in there right places
Only registered cars
rear wheel drive only
any type of fuel
2 runs only best 1 counts
must have a fire extinguisher
No slicks (RAG type tyres) radial type is ok
spear a spud , 1 winner ,quikest time of day wins
show and shine, 7 trophies up for grabs
BBQ and cold drinks
Static Burnouts (on our portable pad) will be held after dyno comp say around 3.30 / 4.00pm
bring some tyres and rims and have some fun.....

A couple of pics from the day ... MORE HERE !!
Winner from last year defending his title.
Nice sleeper, except for the bonnet hole.
Both cars, same owner ... Guess which one won highest horsepower for the day?
The stocko under the bonnet
Someone mentioned this has made its way into last Street Machine or some other Magazine ...
And underneath what do we see ???
My pics dont do this thing justice !!

The only Ford in the show and a landscape shot. Shame really that no old school Fords turned up !!
Yours truely's with an EH that cruised down with us ... We got passed by a white Corvette on the way down, not often you would see that out here !!
