it will be r31 skyline/pintara you're after with integrated handbrake?

or do you mean front?? not straight forward, i used torana stubs, r32 or 33 (cant remember) calipers, territory rotors, falcon hub, custom adaptor.

R32 gtr calipers. The 25mm disc type, sumitomo on the side, adaptor bracket, hq style stubs, swapped left to right and so on.Hq discs, if using Torana stud pattern, buy blank rotors and drill to suit.

Isnt there an issue with bumpsteer using hq stubs? Also how do you buy blank rotors and drill them to torana pattern? i thought lh/lx/uc were all "hat-type" rotors ie the hub and rotor are one piece.

Cheers

Jaime

used the r32 callipers, LX stub axles but had to clearance the lower control arms and bump stop pads on the sub frame to use them, hq disks and cut out the adapter plates from some 10 mm plate.

Careful on the calipers...only early R32 GTR ones are correct..not later ones..Better to look for 300ZX ones...they are correct.

Yeah Im using the 300zx callipers but not the HQ stub axles, with the LX stub axle the Calliper sits closer to the lower control arm. When the suspension is fully extended it hits the calliper on full lock and needs to be notched out. Bit more work than using the HQ stub axles but i think its the better way to go.

I in the middle of setting up this conversion on my lj track car!! Still looking for a suitable rotor to make most of larger rotors but camry is closest i have found to date( possibly the new sti wrx rotor still to check this wk end).

i have machined rotor face off from standard hq rotors and will need to machine down the outer diameter of this. This will ensure no major mucking around with new hubs etc. I will also need to slightly machine down the inner diameter of the rotor so will sit over the hq hub. this will hopefully allow me to run the largest rotor possible!!

Need to get this sorted before i start making dogbone to mount caliper but hopefully should be up and running within a few wks!!

G'day guys

Just received a copy of a rough template off rocket and will provide an accurate copy to the forum once i have got them made upo together with a disc / hub combination as soon as possible. Looking at VT 296 x 28mm discs, HQ stubs and a hub adaptor from a place in Croydon Vic with 300zx calipers.

You need wheels spacers for 15 in simmons, but 14 inch Hotwires fit without.
