I hear WSID are letting the A.P.S.A run their 4 classes as a exabition Pro Street style shootout at the upcoming Mega-buck event on 28 June 2008 as well as the regular classes for that event.

Classes are:

PROSTREET/BLOWN

PROSTREET/UNBLOWN

MODSTREET/BLOWN

MODSTREET/UNBLOWN

And are to be 8 car fields if we can get all filled if not then mix up PS/B and PS/U with 16 cars and MS/B and MS/U with 16 cars..

Have heard that there is alot of interest for this meet and we have nearly got all the classes filled up.

There are Cars from VIC and QLD plus all the local guy's so lets support it and hopefully it can get it's own event on WSID's calender?

And there is NO prize money we are just trying to put on a good show for the crowd :spoton:

Hopefully i can make it out as i havent been to a big even for a long time now!

I missed ya at the muscle car cruise the other night, though i did get a chance to have a good look at the car! She's a work of art!

I have everything crossed

and i think from the last time i raced the mega buck they mixed everyone together so i was chasing 12 sec cars :fool:

not very safe if any one gets loose :blink:

hehe yeah i was wondering if i had the balls to set up and enter the toy for a run in S/ST! ( What's the class cut off?)

And i agree.... that can be a scary feeling! I've had that at street meets!

The cut off for ss/t is 12.99 to 11.00, come on its $3000 for the win you never know :spoton:

and the entry cut off is this friday the 20th june

Have to get entered yet mate! I've left my run a bit late! I'll try and call john Henman today, Luckily i have his contact details from the GMH-T Drag day!

I'll ring him when i get home from work and let you know how i go!

There's not much to work on the monaro.... I *MIGHT* just drop the tailpipes off but that'll be about it!

Just have to give it an oil change.... degrease and once over to make sure everything is in tip top shape!

Just checked my email, and got a reply from John Henman, and unfortunately i'm out! I missed the boat!

Regardless, I didnt realise that i would have needed a 4 point harness to race S/ST anyway, so i wouldnt have been able to race anyway.

Looks like i have some more money to spend on the beast now and get ready to race for the next one.
