yea i saw it a long time ago about the time when hope valley road was a big thing. I saw it in a race late at night near waneroo and also dow at ravenswood. I thought it was a blue hatch though.

The number plate was justified from memory though

Hasn't been seen in quite some time... It ran a 400 Chev and Powerglide if my memory serves me correctly.

As for being the fastest in Freo that's open to debate, at that time AGRO was still seen on the streets, along with PRO LH, and a few others all 10 sec streeters. There was a blue 68 Camaro getting around with a nitroused big block as well, reported to be over the 800hp mark. Coffin Cheater's car I was told.

The owners name was Darren and he was a member of the Combined Torana Car Club of WA for some time.
It was a dark Blue hatch with a very strong old style 308 from memory did low 11's at ravo but was brocken up and sold before motorplex opened.
Not sure where it all ended up.

I remember scabs before ob city was built and it was blue metal car parks. The best I ever saw it down there was when the road from the middle car park was open to the bottom car park and people would line up for burnouts. I always said that was the best burnout paid ever built because you could look down at the car from a couple of metres away......I remeber quicklx and few others from about that time that you don't see anymore. Come to think of it you don't see many torries at WA shows at all now, what's happened to them all!!!

No ones mentioned Cutler road ??. I lived in the estate across the road and Id hear the late night scratch matches. Wed head up in the morning too see the new skid marks and occasionally where the non local had not seen the end of the road and the twin black marks turn into twin sand grooves. I remember the road being almost black with occasionally a large oil patch and trail.
I just about wrote off my car on a late night full noise blast a few years ago when I realized that long black line across the road wasnt the new 400m marking, it was a freshly laid bitumen speed bump!!
