Not sure if this is the right place to post positive feedback from a business I have dealt with but anyway.....

I purchased a welder from State of the Arc in Capalaba QLD recently. Right from my first phone call I found the service to be fantastic. The sales bloke, Josh, asked me what I was welding and suggested a couple of welders, one which I had researched already. The price was good (same as ebay) and they also do the gas bottles at a good price.

When I picked up the welder they took me out the back and showed me how to set it up (feeding wire, connecting to gas etc) and one of the other blokes, Bryce, came out and gave me welding demo and a bit of training. I was there for about two hours !!

At no time did they do the hard sell, I bought a helmet within my budget and good pair of gloves for a reasonable price. They suggested a couple of local businesses to see about getting scrap steel to practice on as well. I was also encouraged to give them a call if I had any questions at all.

Normally I dont bother posting feedback on a business unless I am really impressed. This mob definately provide A1 service and I wont hesitate to do business with them in the future.

Their details are:
State of the ARC
Shop 3, 104 Redland Bay Rd (Corner of Smith st)
Capalaba QLD 4157
Ph 07 3245 6344

Cheers,

Big T

when I was in the trade these guys were one of our major suppliers.
the owner was a tradesman to start with so gives the service you would expect from someone like minded. I have no hesitation to recommend them also.

Fantastic to hear!

It's great to hear about companies that treat the little blokes with respect!

Thanks for giving them a good wrap, I'm sure other members will be interested!
