finally got all the windows taking up space in the garage put in the house so i could pull the hatch outa its corner and into daylight for the first time in 18 months!for those thatdont know or care, im in the process of rebuilding a 50 year old weatherboard house into a limestone mansion.and so when its finished i can focus dollars and time into the hatch.anyhoo put a battery in and some 2 stroke down its throat and damn me the ole girl started first turn of the key.not bad for an engine with 310.000 klicks on the clock.so out it went for its first bath in 18 months :D the plan for the rebuild(when the house is done)is origanal right down to the radio apart from the 15 inch indys which i lreckon sets her off nicely .she looks better for the tub and i cant wait till the house is done and then ican get stuck into her

I know where your coming from!
I can't wait to finish 75 of my missuses projects, finish off boy's UC hatch, finish painting my old rangie (work truck), put a new floor in Dad's trailer (so I can keep borrowing it), fix the caravan so I can start on the LJ "s" that I haven't put a spanner on for 2 years.

OOOPS! I telll a lie, I pulled the dizzy out of the LJ today and gave it a tweek to put in the UC cos boy's was sha%&ed.

No Electronic Ignition for the Hatch? You should get him to sign up on the forums btw, does he know other Torana owners and have much Torana-based inspiration apart from his dad?

Welcome to the "Building the Wife's Castle" Club. My effort was only going to be a 12 month project, that was 2 years ago. Still not quite finished, but nearly.

Front bit (not pictured) is 1926 Californian Bungalow.

Heath,
Boy knows zip about cars, and his only interest is transport. The UC was more my fetish than his (although he says his car looks "kewl" whatever that means) As far as HEI goes, the "tweek" I gave the dizzy today lets it run 10 degrees idle advance, it purrs now, doesn't "ping" and doesn't bog down when he uses 3rd to go aroung L/H corners. This is on a budget, which was well and truley spent on insurance.

Yella SLuR,
Maybe Chopper has the right idea regarding females?
