I won't paste the big story from the gemini site i'll just summarise it up. I looked at this car about 2 years ago and didn't have the coin the family was asking for when the pop went into care so i let it go. The daughter who is 76 rang me last Friday and told me i could come get the car for free. Still registered but plates had to be handed in by the 13th of July. Grabbed the car in lovely original condition and the Licencing Centre let me pay the rego. She had to pick him up from the retirement village to come sign the transfer papers. He is 96 years old and bought it new and only drove it for 3 years and its had minimal driving since.
Anyway...

I won't be driving it until i get all the maintenence part done as it hadn't been started for quite a while... i had it running but it fouled 2 plugs almost immediately due to old fuel.
From owning many geminis in the past they are awesome on fuel unless modified. 600 to a tank is easily achievable.

Would defeat the purpose of it being a daily. It actually has a head problem though so if you want to buy it i'll sell it cheap.

This was picked up thismorning... $500
After replacing the snapped in half cam and regapping the tappets it would not idle when off the choke, tried a spare carby aswell... that shat me off but the main reason for sale was when upon giving it a rev it had a slight rattle. Now to change the diff for the 3rd time in the VL so it becomes daily again haha
