Must have improved since I used them last.............................

Was about 4 years ago and they completely rooted some die cast bits off my FC, and took ages to get them back to me. Still have the bits to prove how bad the job was.

I've used Astor before, for business, not car parts, and they've
done a pretty good job most of the time.

I usually push the limit a little time wise, and even material wise.

They can electroplate/chrome ABS plastic too BTW! - yes plastic.
(not vacuum metalising, different process.)

If a chrome plater wanted to be the best in the country all they'd have to do
is get the stuff done when they say it will be done.

Ive been waiting since the week before Easter for 4 rims to get chromed.
13th March till July 1st and still no wheels. Useless.

The company above is not involved.

All of the platers and polishers have since been replaced (over the last 2 years) and thier qualifications and expertise are excellent. I've had quite a few things done there, and I can post some pictures of before and after if people want to see.

cheers, Lee
