Sweet rides BCR42Y,

Dont let the 'heavy metals' get you down, LOL.

I had a road registered CHARADE 1300i 16v 4WD turbo GTTI
for about 6 months and it was a rocket. Looked so stupid with
the flares removed, but it used to embarrass the hell of a lot
of quick cars. In six months I went thru 3 clutches!!!!!

Just loved that "WTF is in that thing?" look from the other driver!!

I'm looking at a clubby too, or more likely a VX V8 with
a clubby kit on it! I have to have something to carry the Fam.
Works out quite nicely price wise compared to the real deal.

See ya round. Or is that hear you round? Write you round??

That looks familiar, did you buy it from Parramatta road?

I've never even seen one sitting like that, does it run badly at full lock or over train crossings etc?

I have to take it slow over train tracks and its got a locker, so it's almost impossible to drive it at full lock, the previous owner had big wheels on it and the steering has been modified so that it doesnt go full lock like standard, i have to flick it when i need to do a U turn :D .

Thanks all, the first time i saw the colour the car was full of dust in the guys garage, and i wasn't 100% about it, my fiance at the time said, your not buying that, which gave me more initative to buy it, once i got it home and washed it, she fell in love with the color.

Have you noticed that with yours Ultra?

What i have found is that the colour changes even though it is not a pearl, depending on the light and angle you look at it.

I cant wait to finish the engine and get it back on the road again.

Its been a constant drama with building this new engine, have the bottom end together, just need to bolt on the heads, manifold and bits like alternator etc.
