I'm planning to buy a set of the new Performance Superlights, 16 X 7s.

For those of you with larger sized rims on LC/LJs, will I have any problems with 16 X 7s fitting? (I have slightly flared guards).

What tyre size (width, profile) is recommended? Do I need to order the wheels in some specific off-set?

Does anyone have these wheels on a LC/LJ and if so, what are they like?

Any advise would be appreciated!

Cheers

Mark

Pm MODNIZED,he has 16's with std front & rear ends so he should be able to help you with offsets & widths.

So, do I need to get a modification plate in Queensland, if I get 16" rims for my LC?

What about 15"?

16's yes, 15's are ok so long as there only 6.5" wide or less.

the rule of thumb is 2" higher and 1" wider than the biggest from the factory. biggest on lc/lj was 13x5.5. that said, if you put an aftermarket diff in there it goes by what the biggest rim fitted to that diff was, same thing with front brakes. good loophole htat one.
