Hey Brett good to hear this thing is still happening. Looking good! Does your gearbox hang much below the chassis rails underneath? I might have to make a bash plate or something, unless the engineer doesnt like it at all (then i'll prob have to make a new trans tunnel. :(

nvmylh

measured the crossmember, about 5mm below chassis rails. gearbox is all above the rails.
if you used a thin gearbox mount then it wouldnt be lower at all.
i went to take a pic for you, but baterries were flat.....
tomorrow i try again.

Hi Brett, was it u i sent the rb30 conversion article to?..............was a while ago, have there been many hidden probs?
What are the rear lights from? Have you got a view from the side....just to see how flush they sit?

Hope you get there soon.

The stance of that front end is perfect! As long as it doesn't rub, I'd keep it.

got the battery hooked up today!!

starter spun around, dash lights a go-go, and 12v at the coil.

pulled apart my grenade, which was originally only going to be a set of rings, which turned into big ends, and now i have to do mains. frustrating...

but its moving along slowly.
