Ive been hunting around my local auto & panel shops (nsw central coast) for rocket red engine enamel but can't find it anywhere

Has anyone tried one of the engine enamels labelled as red or orange and found it was as close match?

Yeh, its hard to find, only place I found it was at Autobarn, so I got the last 4 tins, that was at Slacks Ck QLD. None of the other colours are even close.

Its simple really................

Find a Holden Dealership (Spare Parts) and ask them for Rocket Red

Colour Reference : ACR3 (10890)

If they have,nt got a paint mixing system they just order it in from a Holden Dealer that has.

I buy all my paints, thinners etc through Holden.

Genuine Holden paint...................

VHT Chev Rocket Red is the closest match for our cars.

There are two Holden Rocket Reds, an early model, and the later model one (ours).

K&H Brand is the closest that I can find to the original, and still available.
