Well...
put down the deposit today for an lc 4 door in excellent condition.
mediteranian green i believe the clour is.
was 138 3 speed coulmn shift, drums all round.
but they guy that bought it off the original owner (about a year ago) drove it home and pulled the motor and fornt end out.
planned on putting a 350 chev in but changed his mind.
so the front end is sitting out of it (which is fine by me because in will go a fully rebuil disc brake front end XD).
and at home I have my 202 and celica 5 speed rady to slide in.
needs a few bits an pieces so once i get it back to my place I will make up a little wishlist and see what you guys have that you might wanna sell.

I've never been so happy before!!

here's some pics of when the guy first bought it.

looks like a good deal!

Did you manage to get it "in budget" or did you have to pay a bit more then you thought??

Well first of all I'm thinking I might powdercoat the front end while it's out.
what kind of cost do you guys reckon I'll be looking at?
and I was thinking about doing the engine bay satin black to match. Just a home job to make it all look spick and span.
what does everyone think.
ooooooh and I need an engine stand to get ol' red up, cleaned, painted and a new cam slid in.
anyone on the forums got one they can lend me?
i'm soo excited.
and I should be studying for a physics exam.
haha.

I got my engine stand powder coated last year and it didn't cost much at all. Not sure how much it was, but it was pretty cheap. You should by Luke's exhaust, Matt... I won't need it.

Really happy for you mate, can't wait to see you cruising this summer :D I'm assuming that it will be done before mine.

I'll bring that Boss down with me next weekend. I've also got a set of lowered springs if you want...

EDIT: Pics just appeared. Looks bloody nice! Nice colour aswell :D Shouldn't take much to tidy that up.

Tim

Yeah, the 2.5" will be a bit big for the old 173, I've decided :P

And I don't reckon I'll be able to run lowered springs with my Titans, so I won't be needing them. Ken donated them to me ages ago, so you can have them for nothing. The Boss cost me $50, and I wouldn't mind getting back what I paid so I can buy the proper one.

I'll bring it all down with me next weekend.
