yeah Liam , from memory they were the black mesh and were massive aswell

Yeah thats the ones. It was a beautiful car. The engine was almost all CAD plated and looked horn with the Webber carbs.

My dad had this in a photo album. I think it was 1985 at the holden show in Mundaring. I had my Monaro showing in those days.
I see this now and think, how could they, at least it was a four door.

Its funny you put that pic up marty i had an lx 4 door with square head light and xd indicators but mine were upside down

with a custom grill as well

If you ask the spectators, none. To them there is a problem with all of them, just ask them, and they'll freely tell you.

Prolly the reason they don't have one of their own!!!!

That's always been a nice car built along old school lines of the era (with lots of shiny bits).
Those 17" ROH wheels suit it far better than the newer bigger ROH wheels ..... IMO

Rob Beauchamps LX Torana was pretty amazing back then and would still cut it today.

Agree, dont like the new wheels he has on it now. the ones pictured above were pretty much perfection.
