hey guys im the old SLR5000 if anybody remembers me just want to know which b and m shifter fits under the console of a lx torana

I while ago we had to do a Hurst shifter into a standard hatch console - it's a very tight fit - I image a megashifter would be similar.

did the shifter fit through the gap where the old shifter fit in the console so it all looks stop except for the handle

This is on a hatch console (the one that wraps around the airvents at the front) - the front of the shifter partly went into the area where the 3 switches are located amd it was pressing against the inner sides of the console. I'm not sure if a B&M are the same dimensions as the Hurst we had but it came very close to being in the correct position. Since the B&M are cable you should be able to move it a little if it's not in exactly the right position.

so did it all end up fitting good so u could only see the t-bar do u have any pics or a website of the hurst shifter
