It was good to see 40 Torana's gathered at the one venue in Canberra. The weather was fantastic and the company even better! All in all a very good day with a few Clubs represented - STC, STC-SB, Riverena Torana Club - Wagga, a guy from Cootamundra (not sure if a member of any club) and of course Canberra Torana Club. One A9X was showing, presume he is a member of the A9X club as he was talking to other A9X Club members who turned up for a look and a chat.
It didn't take long for the word to get around, the hoons all did their drive by with the customary rev of the engine accompanied by a screech of the wheels - no doubt all done to impress Torana owners who of course never behave in that manner

As the word spread families turned up to view the show and give appreciative comments

Some nice trophies were handed out on the day, thanks to all those that voted for my LX

hehe in an effort to clear something up about my earlier statement of a Cootamundra guy, well he's apparantly a member here 'LC70GTR' I don't personally know him and I dont recall us getting to meet. Pity about that a golden opportunity passed. maybe nextime we meet LC70GTR we should introduce ourselves

Hi I am only new to this forum. I was going by when i spoted all the torana's and would like to congratulate the club for the great turn. As i am not in a club it was good to see so many cars in the one spot in canberra.
