They are also known as Lock Right if that helps.

Lock right is made by power trax, E-Z is another copy brand, cheaper.
Not sure if they make them for BW diffs.

They have been available for 25 and 28 spline BW diffs for the last 5 - 10 years.

If you know there available you should know where to buy one then :spoton:

How much do the E-Z's sell for in Oz?

I know they have been available for 5 - 10 years, because I found that out 5 - 10 years ago. Any price I have is also of that vintage. I found out where to get one back then, but it was still 800 KM from my place. Which is why I'm asking now. Hopefully I'll find somewhere a bit closer.

I wouldn't bother.

The factory BW cone style LSD is far superior to the clutch pack style used in Ford 9" centres. Any decent diff. reconditioner should be able to set up the factory gear to do what ever you want it to do. The centre is far superior to the 25 spline axles.

But each to their own I guess.

This thread is NOT about comparing LSD setups between BW and 9" diffs. In fact, it's not about LSD's at all! I'm asking where I can buy a Lock Right ( E Z locker ) centre close to Melbourne and how much they are.

Thanks for setting me straight. It won't happen again.

I know they are available in Adelaide, I'm trying to locate one in Melbourne. I'll be heading over there around the end of the year, so there's no stress.

I belive they are a "lokka" or "lok rite". Similar to the lock right made by richmond gears, but a cheaper aussie version.

What exactly is a lock right and why are they so expensive ?

lock right is just a brand name of a dtroit locker style differential.

i think they use finer dogs so they arent as aggressive or noisy or something???

and i think they are also torque to engage, where as detroit locker is always engaged?
