well i have a little junker hr ute i have been playing with for a cupple of years now. was given it at the end of 2005 but at the time it was on a family friends farm 1700k away so i started saving to get a motor and gear box put in it and a nice fresh lick of mat black paint mid 2006 it was painted and looking not to bad for a junker. road down on a cupple of bikes with me old man start of 07 to pick it up/ get it regested. got it home nice and fine cut out what little rust i had in it and plated it up where it needed it. had a cupple of minor thing go wrong with it (hyd system for the clutch keep failing smashed clutch number one it it have some fun out in the sticks on a mate proterty ext) just the thing that happen to a cars thats still being redeveloped. start of this year moved out of innisfail to take the old girl for a trip to find some where new to liven 3 month later ended up in melboun. in that 3 months i when back to the farm where i picked the old girl up and had a little to much fun in it (sideways in the bush at 40mph and hit a tree
) well the paint anit what it use to be is all i can say about the time i spent in tara. final made it to melborn where in the fist weekend of been down hear i do clutch number 2 (didnt like 2nd skids at 5500rpm in a friends drive way) replace the clutch first week end out smash the diff center in the bango replace the diff center and she all good for a while......
about 3 weeks ago going to a mates place i notice a the temp going up mmmm pull over top ut the radator and it sprung a leek in one of the hoses so i just let it get a bit hot and keep the water up all good till she starts blowing smoke so the plan is now to rip out all the old 6 gear and put a aussie v8 in to it with eather a 5 speed manaul or a turbo 400 full manualised just going to put a stock 253 to get it back on the road for now (well its going to be more like this time next year) then build up a 383 stroker for it (i want about 400bph) any idears as to how to go about this build would be tops
