I picked up a cheap VR that had a bit of damage right rear and decided to replace the panel that is under the tail light. ie between the tail light and the rear bar there is a panel that has the acclaim badge. Panel is spot welded in a few spots.
Anyway, I emailed rare spares and asked if the tail light panel they had was that part, which they confirmed. Would have been nice if pics were available and I didn't need to ask if the part was correct. I ordered the part and it turned up promptly.

Unfortunately the part was actually the panel that the tail light fits into, not the one I needed. I organised a refund and returned the part. A few weeks go by and I get a phone call informing me they are doing the refund and need me to confirm my credit card details. Done, and waited. Few more weeks go by, still no refund so I email them again. Get a phone call saying they are doing the refund.

guess what, still no damn refund. Tomorrow morning I am emailing them again. wonder if I'll get any action.

Les,
After checking my account today the refund has gone through. Just surprised it took so long, especially as I had returned the part as requested.
Thanks for the offer though. Also was only expecting the part price, but also received initial postal charges as well, so only out of pocket the return postage which I am happy to wear.
