hey guys, the one downside (in my opinion) to the LJ is the lack of a center console. so in the future i plan to get a console from another car or if it comes down to it, fabricate one myself. i saw this one in another topic and i've seen it in a few different cars so i was wondering if anyone out there could let me know what car it is from? thanks alot!
wat is this center console?

looks like an old "custom consoles" console. I think they still exist, just not under that name.

The arm rest kinda thing looks familiar. Whether it's from a Gemini, Escort or any other vehicle, it has been modified substancially I imagine.

It is a 'Custom Consoles' console as REDA9X mentioned. I had one in my old LJ, think I've still got it lexa if you are interested. (pm me) Pretty sure my one is for an LJ but will still fit an LC. For an LC there will be an inch or so gap from the side edge of the lower dash (where wipers etc reside).

Although I never fitted it properly, I had a old (mid '70s) Mazda 929(?) console.
The style fitted my LCs look and it didn't join up to the dash, it fitted the handbrake lever and had a arm-rest/storage compartment.
