Up at the Bright Rod Run over the weekend. Hell of a weekend apart from 40mm of rain while setting up the tent. Anyway, apart from the awesome rods there were some nice torries kicking around. (And a really nice budgie too

) Anyone you know?

Hey there, I was also at the Bright Rod Run. My car is the papaya sl seden. Lol. She has a long way to go till I will be finished with her but I had an awesome time. I was soooo excited to see how many torries rocked up! Last year the sunbird was there. But this year soooooo many more. I loved it. I hung around the other Papaya slr for ages trying to figure out who owned it. I'm sure there is someone from albury or wodonga that has one. Couldn't figure out who was the owner on the day cause I would have liked to meet them. Also on Sunday around lunch a really nice coke red color hatch turned up but we were leaving so I never got to hunt him down either. :-( Kermit was pretty clean too. :-) Seen the red slr drive past but he wouldn't stop and I never seen him park. Missed the silver one. Seen the little grey torry...thought that was pretty sweet too. What a weekend. That rod run is just getting huge! And so many makes and models make it heaps more interesting. Love it...

That photo of the sunbudgie is great!!! That car is f*cken hot, never seen it before.

Thanks for sharing. I've heard this is a great event but I've never actually been to it haha

The Papaya SLR 5000 is Hux454 Glen. Still has the Toranafest sticker on the windscreen by the looks of it.

Yeah I went up to Bright on the Sat for a few hours. Couldn't go Sun as I had too much to do around the house. Sorry I missed you Bek. It's good to meet face to face with other forum members. I go every year & it's bloody great. Will eventually be heading down your way as I want to got to the drags at Heathcote. Just waiting for a decent meet on. When I do I'll PM you.

Sounds great Glen. I look forward to it. The victorian "Hot Rod Reunion"Nostalgia drags are on at heathcote this weekend which I may go check out after I finish with the Bendigo swap meet.... Big weekend :burnout:
