The ex Sams Performance Lh slr 5000 i got from ebay last year is getting close to an end, i have so much on with my 3 little ones and just life in general .
i decided 2 weeks ago when i went to the track to race the A9X and a yellow tc cortina with a alloy headed 393 clevo in it that ran 10.93, wasnt fast enough ,and i got the bug the motor in this lh has run 10.00 @133mph but on methanol which is very stout for a 355 ,but i,m not good on high maintenance or ever had experiance with methonal before ,and love my pump fuel engines . I bought this engine in sydney off a racer there who has run 9.91 @137mph in a maroon 1971 nova that weighed 3700 pound i,m guessing the torana will be about 3300-3400 max .so i,m hoping to run 9.60,s on pump fuel with a motor that didnt cost a lot! it made 770 hp at 6900rpm. Just need pipes and a engine plate and a bit of wiring and she is off . Four weeks and the pipes will be done. PS THE MOTOR OUT OF THE LH IS FOR SALE $10,000 FOR 600HP CARRILLO,S ,ROLLER CAM ,4BOLT SPLAYED, ETC. 355 CUBES FRESH I ALSO HAVE 4 OTHER 355 ,S FOR SALE THAT ALL HAVE BETWEEN 450HP TO 580HP 0407733239

i have about seven actually they are all for sale at respectable prices depending on the engine and quality of parts used i will get a list and put it on the for sale forum .
some i have had built and others from cars i have purchased.

car looks like it will be back on monday from barsterd race cars with the engine plate and pipes all done i,m really hoping to have this back soon as i want to run it at the torana day drags at willow bank at the end of march ,needs tailshaft and wiring and dizzy i will be cutting it close.

just an update took the alloy dash out and put the original slr dash back in and ashtraywas a bit difficult as the cage goes real close to the piller so had to do a bit of cutting? also carpet back in and original slr steering wheel,just need the vinyl door tops for the trim. Have pulleys and dizzy and radiator to go !
She looks more and more like a streeter every day!
