Fittin Hopper Stoppers Kit

Hey all, pulled out the old front end today and planning on fittin the new uc x-member and hopper stoppers brake kit, now my question is should i swap my stub axels left to right or not? should i have the calipers mounted to the front or the back of the disc?

They can be mounted the front it says in there instructions in some instances. It also says that they may fowl depending on your individual car. I tried them from the front and they wouldnt fit so i had to unbolt the stubs again and change them around they now fit from the rear with no probs.

i have fitted kit lx hatch fitted to rear other wise they will foul with steering ball joints :D thanks woof

Yes he did but who reads those anyway
I'd prefer them on the front myself but if you have clearance issues put them on the back Clint

You dont read instructions when you know what your doing, if you cant work it out then read the instructions :rockon:

Pretty sure with hoppers kit you swap stubs from left to right, calipers are on backside.

the hoppers instructions state that they sometimes fit on the front but if they dont swap stubs and put them to the rear

On my LH I'm using a UC cross-member, HQ discs, Rod-Tech conversion kit with LC drum stubs and HZ style calipers. The calipers are on the rear of the disc, no clearance problems. HZ Calipers have to go on the rear due to the direction the std hole for the flexible line.
