I must say that there were some nice cars on display and people obviously have gone to considerable time, effort and expense bringing their cars up to this standard. The majority of these cars are a credit to their owners.

I guess I am 'old school' inasmuch that I went along expecting to see lots of original LC and LJ Toranas (particularly XU1s) as a reference point for my XU1 restoration. Sadly I did'nt see one original car. There were a couple that came close but colour matched brake boosters and wiper motors, header tanks, wrong carbies, etc etc leaves me cold. Maybe I just don't "get it"?
