Ok as the shoutbox crew knows im gonna be getting the old girl back on the road over xmas. Ive done stuff all over the last few months but i got the all clear from my doc and i can get stuck into it. I need to finish off smoothing the shock towers, finish the trims, redo the hatch (might even do something fancy like!) finish the hatch lid and paint, paint new nosecone and bonnet, get the dash the 1 texture and paint, fix my central locking, tidy the engine bay add new shocks and dump it a bit in the arse. This is all ive done till now (new rubbers around rear 1/4 windows and shock towers). there will be more pics over the weeks of work, injuries (trust me there will be some), uckups and all.

i like night.. its peaceful. plus sitting on the so called skinny butt might actually help it to be a big butt cause cushioning would be nice!

Hatch and interior is first on the list so paint b + c pillars, towers, doors. gut up under the dash and remove my vanilla tree forest and tidy the web of wires under there. also need some tunage, my poor old 1999 sony cd player with manual cd eject is gonna get the boot, debating on whether to rig up a sub box or not i like my tunes but i dont think a sub belongs in it.

Great project and hatch Em.

I did a similar thing to my hatch back in 2003. Painted the hatch area and pillars the same colour as the car. Gives it a nice clean look. Here's a photo,

Hey Col, i bought a little beaver when they first came out (before they were blue with CIG on them), spayed a mates car and my XB panelvan they didn't come out too bad but haven't used it for quite a few years now.

only got the silver line on dash left to do (and glovebox and ashtray *waves at Col*) and give it a quick cleanup. I didnt realise how much i hate masking LOL




Cracked it last night and i have ripped EVERY wire out of the engine bay and that will all be redone and hidden over the next week.

ok, no more pissfartin around. i'm now gonna spend my entire day on her for 3 weeks solid, so therefore no net during the day! ill try to keep the updates coming! or i might just suprise yas and give you pics when shes finished! (DECA skidpan final photos... hopefully!)
