heres my latest project. at first i was told it was a mongoose frame, but now i know its a cheaper copy, but still looks like one so now to me its a mongoose LOL

Instead of a chain, you should run a gilmer belt!



The hardest part is pedeling fast enough to make it sound charged lol

Saw a Mongoose at the bike shop today without the tig welding I thought was standard on these bikes. Saw one with tig welds as well. Maybe yours is a legit Mongoose after all?

I reckon use the belt drive off a Buell/Certain Harleys.

Hahahaha That brings back some memories.

I had nearly the exact same bike as a kid, except the frame was black and the Tuffs were yellow.

Best part are the Animal tyres :P ASM's are the best things I've ever ridden on

thanks guys. yeah heath the ASM's are an awesome tire :)
I finally managed to find a new bearing set for the forks, got the seatclamp on, a layback seat tube and an old school new old stock plastic seat :) now its done

i got another project now. Its my first real bike. a 1995 Mongoose Menace i got for my 14th birthday. i gave it to my mates little brother when i got my torana. but now its back in my posession. so many memories on this bike. clearing the doubles, tabletop and camel hump at seven hills bike track.... haha
