Hi all, I was wondering if anybody here knew what tyre sizes are available for my 15x7" rims. I currently have 215/60 on the rear but want to put some wider tyres on. My rears are very close to the tread wear indicators and i've already had a cop give me a defect for 1 of them (got it cleared the same day at the RTA) hehe. I am really trying to find something around the 235/50r15, or something around the 625mm overall diameter. i dont think i could fit 245's either under my guards or on the rims, probably a bit too wide (might attract too much attention too). If somebody has an idea on whats available, or people running similar size wheels/tyres, please suggest something. Would be appreciated!

PS, Dont be affraid to tell me if i'm being a fussy pr!ck, if no other sizes out there. I know i can get 225/50 or 60's, but i think the 50 would look too small in diam, and the 60 would probably be too big in diam! SO i probably should have just asked if 235/50r15 or 55profile tyres are available. Sorry for being an annoying bastard! hehe, cya's

On a 7" rim I wouldnt go wider then 225's.
Get an 8" rim and you can go 265 if you want.

I had 225 50 15 on 15x7 simmons with no lipping of the guards without flares and 205 55 15 on the fronts. No scraping at all.

Hi guys, called into a few tyre places and it seems that theres nothing around 235/50 for 15" rims anymore. Sumitomo make like 275-295 (htr 2000), and i think you can still get 235/60r15. Im just gonna try the 225/50 Sumitomos on the back, and when the fronts wear, some 205/55 from Nankang (unless they make sh1t tyres??) Thanks anyways
