my uncle has asked me to buy a master cylinder cos it has a bigger bore and he says mine is a smaller one.. Just wanted to know how many different master cylinders are their for the LC/LJ model with different bore sizes.? What are the advantages of fitting a bigger master cylinder? Does the brake pedal feel different? What are the sizes?

Im nearly certain that LJ has the same 1" bore as the Kingswoods do.
I believe early LC had 15/16" bore??
And a smaller bore will make the pedal easier to push but you must move it further to displace the same volume of fluid, or cause as much braking force as a larger bore, which will be harder to push but require less movement.
All the above is my understanding and may be incorrect, awaiting someone to confirm.
cheers.

If yours is all cast iron or alloy
Its 1" and there isn't a bigger one
Why would you think you need a bigger one anyway
