G'day guys, i'm about to embark on a V8 conversion in my LX sedan and as i have a heap of Red 6 cylinder stuff from various projects over the years is there any parts that are usuable on a 253/308????

Anything like simple stuff as pulleys, bolts, water pump - engine fan spacers, mounts, brackets etc????

Feel free to compile a list of things as i dont want to get rid of all my 6cyl stuff only to have to buy something for a V8 conversion.

Please share your knowledge!!!!

Cheers Pete

hmm thats a good tip, roughly how much longer???? might need to look at these to cause i'll be running a thick coper head gasket to get the comp down from 12:1 to 10.5:1.

maybe 1/2 inch... I had to trim them a little as the front 2 bolts will bind in the bottom of a hole...I think the rest just go thru to the water jackets.
