UC Paint Colour Schemes

Hey Guys,

My girlfriend has a UC hatch and we are painting it soon, She wants to paint it Metallic black as a base then have pink Highlights on it somewhere... Im trying to work out how highlights work on a UC, we like the look of LH SLR Lines, do u think these would work on a UC? I thought about doing the LX SLR scheme but i think that would be way to much pink!

Another option i thought about was maybe like HK GTS Stripes over the bonnet?

Really just seeing if anyone has done a different paint scheme on a UC and got pics?

Heath im sure u must have some UC Paintjobs in ur files?

if you wanted to get tricky you could put eather a pink pearl over the black, or put pink metal chunks in the paint....

that with some very tastefull highlights, like some lc gtr style speed strypes (the optional oens taht go over the bonnet and boot to the driver side) and a black and pink interior woud look crash hot i recon.

Look to the BF GTs and paint a bulge highlight I have thought of doing something similer but with pinstripes like on a HZ GTS

Bomber watsons suggestion of a pink/magenta pearl coat over a black metallic base would look nice, but the pink pearl will stand out heaps when the light catches it and it may look a little full on, all depends how much attention you want to attract. (might not be a good thing with guys who wanna mow your lawn..hehe)

I like the idea of a metallic black base with pink pearl "bandaid" stripes like a HQ monaro or '69 Camaro on the bonnet, this would look pretty trick i think but not be too wild or standoutish.

Combine that with standard bodylines, nice chrome trims and a wicked stance and i think it would look pretty classy!!

Yeah thanks guys!

We were thinking a black base with maybe a blue metallic/pearl to match the Original untouched Blue Velour Interior... Maybe have a pink pearl in it as well...

I really am leaning towards the bonnet stripes as well, a thicker one and a thin one.

The body is straight and mint as, and she has chosen not to go the flares (Says that my car can be the PHAT looking one and hers the classy one! haha)

Yeah maybe i should do up a photoshop version to see how it may look, anyone got a pic of a Black UC Hatch?

are you thinking hot pink HK GTS stripes or Pink pearl? how about a pink pearl nose stripe like the camaros?

Hmm i like the Camaro Idea! the front of the UC's have the similar look to the Camaro! Ill see wat she reckons of that! Thanks for the Hatch Pic T0rana!

She definatly wants the car to be predominatly black! doesnt want to look like a girly girl! haha

I would suggest painting the car Metallic Black and putting HT or HK GTS stripe in a pink pearl (if pink be the chosen colour) over the car! Almost like a pink ghost stripe!! Would look good!!
