Hey guys can some of you tell me or post up pics for the paint scheme for a genuine L34, where the blackouts go etc? I have some images at home but they are different to what I've been told.

My understanding was that the back of the car was blacked out with the rear spoiler, the guards have a like a black pistripe across the top of them on the corner and the windowfreams on the doors are black. At least, that's how it is on a diecast model of one that I have at home. Now I'm told that the skirting boards are also painted black, but wasn't that just the SLR5000 (like with the warpaint)? When I do searches over the interent I get images of different ways people have done it and calling the car an L34, the main difference is wether or not the skirtingboard is blacked out.

The sills should not be black on L34, and neither should the part behind the rear guards. The black at the back ends at the bumper, other than that it's the same as LH SLR5000.

The Feb 2006 issue of Street machine shows you what I believe is a genuine L34 paint scheme. Read the article on the Road Warrior. Plenty of nice pics. It's a Canberra car.

I won't swear this is the orginal paint scheme but I believe it is.

Cheers
