It will fit under the bonnet while it's open. Otherwise it goes through it.

Is this a non-CRS style supercharger we're talking about here?

for those that don't know what a 3/71 supercharger looks like there is one on ebay at the moment,

To fit it to a holden red motor will require, a front snout and drive assembly (Fisher's supercharging, could make you one) , an adaptor to mount the blower onto a four barrel manifold(again Bob Fisher should be able to help with this too), then you will need to make up a support bracket for the manifold ,as the weight of the blower etc will pull the studs out of the head, then you will need a pulley set, a belt, modified harmonic balancer, probably need to make up an alternator bracket too, a boost referenced carby, better fuel delivery system, and then there's modifying the motor itself to handle the boost.
There are probably another dozen or so things I've forgotten that you will need to do to fit one! and in the end it wont fit under the bonnet of a Torana.
It is a fairly involved job if it is not a complete kit that you are thinking of fitting, they do look a heap better that the toyota kit that Heath mentioned though
