
Turbo g`box into VL Coommodore

Can you tell me what I need and any advice as to where to get stuff like speedo cable and crossmember etc.
Will i need to alter the Tbar and if so how? with what ? etc

I know you can get bellhousings to suit trimatic 308's to turbo boxes so bolting one up to the block shouldn't be a problem.

It will be a problem as most of those awful bellhousing adapters don't work that well. You are best off getting the TH bellhousing modified when the box is rebuilt so it bolts straight on. That or modifying the block when the engine is rebuilt.

The were also fitted to VQ & VQII Statesman & Caprice models.In Australia only VN, VP and VG. V8 box is a straight bolt in behind the 308 but is longer hence the tailshaft being shorter.
