Polyweld Sydney do door trims as well, you can order them through Rares but for all places you'll need to supply the metal tops.

Oh, and

Be prepared to wait. R

There are other places that do seats. I know of on in Melb Bill Mayne @ Ringwwood. Has done many Toranas and is expert in vintage and clasic. cars.

Just re done my new Calais international drivers seat that fell apart for the dealer.

BUT WHERE ARE YOU ????????????????????????

Cools Auto Trim in Peakhurst. I just had a set of A9X door trims and seats done and they are perfect. He also done a set of SLR/5000 in herringbone for me and they are sensational.

Why don't you talk to Steve at Cools in Sydney and have him make a set of covers and door trims for you and then have them sent down and just get a trimmer to have the covers fitted. Steve can do them in about 2 weeks. I'm not trying to push his business but he does quality work. Call him and tell him Dennis sent ya.

Ruts.

Hi Dennis. Thanks for that mate. I would be happy to send Steve stuff if he comes recommended. Im not in any great hurry, but everyone has said that eastern auto take about a year and that sounds a bit annoying... Im not worried about the seats as I can probably get them done here in ballarat. Would I need to send the complete door trims to him up there? Does he have the machine there himself? Theyre Sienna LX SLR trims.
Cheers, Hainzy

G'day Hainzy, Steve doesn't make the door trims on site but they supply all the boards so you would not have to send him anything, they are made in the same street. Give him a call on 91530042. If you like I'll post some pics of the seats and door trims he did for me and you can see the quality of his work.

Thanks Dennis. Does he do them through polyweld? It sounds better than trying to deal with eastern autos. They never answer their phone to get a quote. I could (and will) ring Steve, but do you know how he compares price wise? EA never answer the phone so ive got nothing to compare it to! ha. Also if you had pics and it wasnt a pain id love to see em. Cheers mate.

Yep Polyweld do the door trims but if you get Steve to organise them 4 U he gets them quicker. I'll post the pics tonight.

Gday Dennis.
I gave steve a call. Certainly is a nice guy. He reckons the sienna is almost impossible to find but he suggested I send him up a sample. I also spoke to supertrim in melb who have some of the outer sienna colour. Im thinking I will end up getting my door trims put onto new backing boards and the carpet at the bottom redone, then get the seats repaired. Might be the only way to get it done. Griffs trims here in ballarat reckon they know a bloke who has SLR stuff too so theyre getting back to me. Ill see how it all pans out... Thanks for your help!

Howdy guys. I was given the contact for a bloke in QLD who brings in all the vinyl and gets stuff made. he now has about 6 blokes chasing sienns so he reckons he'll have something in a few months. The company has closed down in oz and most of the machines have apparently gone to malaysia but hes chasing good quality vinyl. Fingers crossed.
