Peter - Ive got some video and photos of you and Steve battling it out. I can send the photo's and will upload video once I've got myself organised.
I can go through and list whose car is whose but I might to this on a separate thread along with times etc.
I will let you in on a little secret though. The Corolla lined up against the HQ is me and I won that race !! The Quee red lighted..... but I still ran a 16.6@81 mph

Have to say again a huge thanks to Big T for organising the day. I thought it went great and would be happy to help out any way I can to make this a regular thing. I haven't had that much fun in ages and as a bonus scored my fastest time and MPH ever even though the car was playing up.

That Ultra blue hatch looks great, my fav. colour. Good work T, good turnout by the looks. Who was the owner ?
Adam (mra9x) owns that car Rod. Good performer too, [email protected].

I wish I had time to take more photos and meet a few more people, ah well, I did at least get to meet some pretty cool dudes on the day.
Okay, back to sorting out which cars ran what times. Stay tuned, a more detailed review of the day is coming.......

Here is a vid from "inside" the winner of the "Fastest NON Torana" trophy (the purple VK pictured in this thread already)
It was recorded on the 28th but later on in the test & tune part of the afternoon, gives a little idea of what its like to race a 10 sec street car....

Secondly I am currently putting tomato sauce on my words and eating them after giving torana308 a bit of a gee up over the last week but can tell you I dont know who was more elated me or him about the fact that he ran a 12 finally after all those hours playing and fixing things its finally payed off Pete well done mate
thirdly I want to congradluate all the trophy winners (Even tho i was ripped with my .400 light aswell) as I spoke with tony after the arvo had finshed i have just started my own workshop and next year I will be throwing some cash in and helping out with the prizes next event As think this is a great event to support and you guys and girls made the day a good one for me
Lasty as I stated the day off very very ordanary with the car playing up but on my second last run I hurt the car badly as i crossed the finsh line I lost all oil preassure but hey thats racing so watch this space for a new bigger and better engine maybe even a twin turbo 355 might be on the cards
Thanks again to BigT the Queensland Torana Club and GMH-Torana.com.au for the day bring on the next event
Thanks Pro79 (scott)
