has anyone had their car sag on one side after brand new everything in the suspension?
I have lovells springs and Koni adjustables with nolathane bushes
It seems to be coming from the front drivers side 10-15 mm lower than the passenger side
Have tried swapping springs from one side to the other
have also tried removing shocks and sway bar
have also loosened all the bushes and tightened them at ride height.
the chassis is straight and all the control arms seem to be ok too
none of the above worked

anyone got any other ideas

oh yea and the tyres are both pumped up too ha ha.

Are all 4 wheels/tyres the same?
If 1 tyre is a different size or there is a height difference between 2 tyres it will cause a sag.

Well i was going to say did you install the front springs on the wrong side, i think some springs are made slightly higher on the drivers side to compensate for the weight.

Have you checked the Chassis for twists, seen it once in an LJ that had been bingled and then repaired.

Have a look if the front cross member has sagged. They tend to do that after a while, particularly in the V8's.

I've heard of it, but don't know how you check if it is the case. Somebody else might be able to help in that regard.

Local guy also bought a hatch with a bent chassis rail. Looked like the right hand front corner was sniffing the ground. He got it put on the car-o-liner and fixed for around $300-$500ish. Was obviously in an accident, and somebody just bolted new panels/nose cone to the bent substructure.

Never seen anything like that before, was certainly a weird look.

All the wheels are the same LS1, BTW I have 17's and the same prob as you with the back so am gonna drop it off to a lovell dealer to sort it out. maybe get the back reset 20-30 mm lower than the lovells lowest.

The chasis is good as the car was a one owner with only a few minor dents.

It is lucky i have short hair or it would have been pulled out by now.

Am gonna drop it off at WA suspensions for them to sort out when i head back to work.
Delegation is the best answer, pass your problems onto someone else

I have the same problem in my SS hatch. I have fitted all new bushes throughout the car and a full new set of pedders suspension lowered 2 inches. The car sits up on the passengers side about 15mm on both the front and the rear. I have taken the springs out and checked that they seated in correctly. Now the car is off to a mechanic to see if he can solve the problem while doing a few other minor things.
If it comes back later in the week the same pedders will be doing the remaining work to figure it out.

Spring not fully seated in the upper or lower? (Been there done that). The right side went boing when I took it for a drive as I still hadn't got it in right.

its not that either mate I had. i had to twist the drivers side around about 30degrees to get the drivers side almost right.

pain in the ass.

if the engine cross member still bolts up ok you wouldnt think it would make 15mm difference would you?

Problem solved, well all but about 5mm of it.

The prong things up inside the cross member that locate the spring were too far out for some reason so i bent them back in and all was good.
maybe lovell use a bigger wire diameter than standard which makes a smaller inside diameter.

Thanks all for your ideas.
