I will be modelling them in Solidworks in the not too distant future. I don't know if it can be converted but that is the best I can do.

Solidworks is a 3D modeling program, I assume SusProg3D is a program for suspensions ie working out all the geometry roll centres etc

Yeah pete, its what we used at fsae,
Don't think you'll be able to transfer the files across from solid works to susprog, but if you have the hard points/pivot points/other dimensions in 3D coordinates you'll be able to enter them into susprog manually fairly quickly..

Cool i guess all the co-ordinates could be transferred, would be a good start anyway Cheers

Blast from the past....

Did the modelling of the suspension setups occur?

I could support with some additional modelling. Might not be a bad idea to setup a group project on the forum and have a few guys work on modelling a little bit of the car. Then it can all come together slowly.
Would be a massive help when looking at conversions etc.

I've been a bit lazy and I didn't get Solidworks up and running until a couple of weeks ago, I have started to model the body to get an idea where the weaknesses are, but I haven't started on the suspension
