There is no specific kit for that modification and I do not know what you would use.

What is a "painless wire kit"?

I've installed a few head units with custom looms to make life a bit easier.. but what does this mean when talking about a whole car?

greg, thats what i thought, but i currently have injection on it and we want to back to carby and the ute has not one bit of wire in it.. it is a complete rewire job.. and i have been quoted by three different auto elect upto $3k with injection... or $1k with carby.... hence the reason we are going back to carby... i have a limited budget and the diffenrence in cost will pay for the chrome work....

Youre kidding...an extra 2k to wire up a vk efi engine, check out sammy's site as it's just about the easiest of efi conversions to wire up mate, should be easier than wiring up a vn delco.

no not kidding, mention all that I had the wiring harness to suit, but all have said no good.. as I will not be using all of it and that they would rather start from scratch....$3k was the highest quotes.. $2.5k was the lowest..... We are over the endless amount of money that has gone into the FJ and just want it finished, so the cheaper alternative is the answer for us at the moment... plus if I decide to change motors later to a V8...(not injected) I can without wasting money....
