Shortening diff

How easy is it to shorten a diff? i have a door door whic hthe tubs have been done but want to keep the budget as low as possible. just want to be able to chuck some wide wheels on the rear paint it up looking stock and put a nicely worked 202 in. cheers

wide wheels may need tubs depending on how wide u want to go. diff shortening is pretty easy, take to a diff place, tell them how wide u need it. depending on what diff it is u might need custom axles. I worked out with my build that going budget wont always work. changes to one thing may mean changes to many others. just my opinion

why not just use differend offset? commodore offset wheels work pretty well for that if you are thinking of changing to commodore stud pattern for whatever reason
